ABC's of supervising others - What you need to know to be a great supervisor!

This informative and practical one day course is designed to help participants overcome many of the supervisory problems that they will encounter as a workplace leader. Dealing with the problems that a new supervisor encounters isn’t easy, but it doesn’t have to lead to discouragement.


This one day workshop will show you how to:

  • Adjust to the supervisor’s role with confidence.
  • Develop your skills in listening, asking questions, resolving conflict, and giving feedback to employees.
  • Identify key attitudes that you can develop to enhance your supervisory skills.
  • Use time management and planning techniques to maximize your success.
  • Develop a technique for giving instructions that are clear and understood.
  • Understand the importance of developing good relationships with employees and peers, so you are seen as fair and consistent.

Steve Semmens - The Persuader, has over 30 years experience as a leader and supervisor. He remembers vividly, his first supervisors role at age 19 and the challenges he encountered. The Persuader's wealth of knowledge will help to make an immediate impact in the way you positively supervise your staff building great communication channels, decreasing conflict, and increasing productivity.

Payment for the course must be received before a participant commences study and is non-refundable once course commences. A 10% administration fee will be deducted for any cancellation up to 14 days prior to the commencement of the training course.A 50% administration fee will apply for any cancellation received 7 to 13 days prior to the commencement of the training course.

NO REFUND will be issued for any cancellation within 7 days prior to the commencement of the training course.Cancellation of the course by The Persuader will result in full refund of course fees.

All cancellations must be advised in writing.

Certificates / Statements of Attainment will only be given to the participants when full payment of the allotted fees has been paid.

Classes will only commence if class sizes are to capacity and The Persuader reserves the right to postpone or cancel classes.
