THE KANIMBLA STRING QUARTET 

REBECCA DANIEL - Violin - Studied music with Emanuel Hurwitz and the Amadeus String Quartet at The Royal Academy of Music. She was invited to join The Australian Chamber Orchestra, later to become the orchestra leader for Les Misérables, Phantom of the Opera and Beauty and the Beast musicals.

ELIZABETH COONEY - Violin - She was Concert Master of the Eastern Sydney Chamber Orchestra from 2007 – 2011 and performed in the BBC Planet Earth and Dr Who.

SAM HARDING – Viola - At the age of twelve, he began tutelage at the Sydney Conservatorium with Geotz Richter, during which time he played for and led the Conservatorium’s Access Orchestra.

TRISH MCMEEKIN – Cello - Studied with John Painter at the Sydney Conservatorium, and at the Adelaide Conservatorium with James Whitehead. Patricia subsequently spent 15 years in the UK, playing with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra whilst heading the string department at Bryanston School in Dorset.
