While general admission tickets do NOT guarantee seating, on most nights everyone gets a seat. Arriving as early as you can is always recommended, and conversely, arriving really really close to show time isn’t necessarily the best course of action.

Do you like piña coladas and getting caught in the rain? What about getting caught between the moon and New York City?

If your answer to those questions was 'I CAN go for that', you will want to drop your anchor at the Smooth Sailing Yacht Rock Party. Yacht rock was the music of the late 1970s and early 1980s that was the polar opposite of punk: think gentle singer-songwriter melodies, backed by renowned session musicians playing some slowed-down disco funk. It's music that, let's face it, was completely daggy, but which you completely love anyway: think the likes of Michael McDonald & The Doobies, Toto, Steely Dan, Hall & Oates, Boz Scaggs and the Captain & Tennille.

So bring your captain's hat to our show, sip at a piña colada, and listen to our cracking 12-piece band featuring some of Sydney's smoothest musicians play the highlights of the Yachtest 100. If previous shows are any indication, you may have to ride like the wind to make sure you get tickets before they sell out.
