Event Details

The Brisbane tourism industry invites you to celebrate International Women's Day with a lunch event hosted by Women in Tourism (Australia) on Friday 5th March 2021.

The 2-course lunch will be held on Level 30 of Sofitel Brisbane Central running from 12 noon until 2.30 pm.

A panel of three inspiring speakers will discuss career changes, career resilience and ways we can adapt and evolve our work life which we feel is very relevant for the tourism industry right now.

Mary-Clare Power, ex CEO of Southern Queensland Country Tourism and current Brisbane based consultant.

Leonie Vandeven, Director at StormBirds Organisational Strategies, a specialist change, crisis and communications consultancy. She previously held senior roles with Brisbane Airport Corporation and Virgin Blue. 

Karyn Ross, Head of Experiences at Welcome to Country, an online to guide to experiencing Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Australia.

The panel will be facilitated by Jane Hedger Director at StormBirds Organisational Strategies.

The lunch event kicks off at 12 noon and your ticket includes a welcome drink on arrival and a 2-course sit down lunch.

Refund Policy

Refunds up to 14 days before the event, Refunds are available up until 14 days prior to the event. After that time refunds are not available however tickets can be transferred to another name.
