Laura Simpson is an author who writes seductive, contemporary romance novels. Having grown up in the Dandenong Ranges, she published her first story at age 11, about the bushfires that ravaged her hometown. During high school, she played volleyball and represented Australia, before gaining a scholarship at the University of Iowa. Returning from the States, she commenced work at the Red Cross and completed a Masters of Law in Human Rights and now advocates against poverty and homelessness. Laura is married with two children, two dogs and seven chooks and lives in the Alpine Valley.
