Celebration of Australia's Biggest Morning Tea Gold Coast

Please join Cancer Council Queensland to Celebrate Australia's Biggest Morning Tea 2021 on the Gold Coast. Our guest speaker will be Professor Joanne Aitken - General Manager of Research, Cancer Research Centre. With more than 25 years of research in cancer epidemiology, Joanne has an ability to make science and medical research understandable. She is a cancer epidemiologist who is internationally recognised for her work in the epidemiology of skin cancer and cancer in children. She has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from Griffith University, a Master of Science in Epidemiology from Harvard University and a PhD from the University of Queensland. Joanne has been with Cancer Council Queensland since 1997 and will share with us the great strides that have been made in cancer research, our most recent findings, and where research is heading in 2021 and beyond.
