Tyler Cooney is a Brisbane based guitarist and composer. As well as leading and co-leading his own projects Monsterra, Headland, and as a solo jazz artist, he performs as a sideman in a number of other genre diverse ensembles including Kerbside Collection and Dezzie D And The Stingrayz. Tyler is set to tour around Australia in August for the release of his latest album, 'Modern Ideal', a guitar trio album of original jazz that features Tim Firth on drums and Nick Quigley on double bass. On August 19th join the Tyler Cooney Trio at Banshee’s Bar and Artspace featuring Elliot Parker on double bass and Aaron Jansz on drums, with supporting set from Joseph Rabjohns.
