Join us to take a closer look at the fascinating plant life on Woolgoolga Headland. There is more than meets the eye! Our Coastal Headlands support a unique combination of native plant species adapted to the impacts of salt laden winds. You’ll be surprised at how many species there are sheltering amongst the Themeda tussocks.

Led by Aaron Hartley from City of Coffs Harbour Bush Regeneration team, this guided walk will uncover the rich plant diversity of our Coastal headlands. You’ll not only learn to identify a variety of native plants but also to spot and manage invasive weeds - valuable knowledge for our Landcare volunteers who are working to protect these unique landscapes

  • Meet on the on Pollack Esplanade on the path to the Headland.
  • Wear long sleeves/ pants, enclosed walking shoes and a hat
  • Bring a bottle of water
