Facilitator: EDVOS (Eastern Domestic Violence Service)

To end family violence in Australia, we must all play a part. 

Recognise, Respond and Refer (The 3Rs) - Family Violence training, is designed to build the capacity and confidence of individuals and organisations to help people experiencing family violence. 

This session is targeted at individuals, community groups and clubs, health services and not-for-profit organisations who provide activities, programs and services in Knox. 

You will learn how to:

- Recognise the signs of family violence

- Respond appropriately to disclosures of family violence

- Refer safely to specialist family violence services.

Participants will also learn about the gendered nature of family violence and how to challenge community attitudes that reinforce gender inequality. 

The training will be delivered online via Zoom, by qualified and experienced trainers from EDVOS in a supportive environment.
