FREE Mental Health First Aid Course for Parents & Carers
Do you care for someone with a disability in Knox?
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) will teach you how to provide initial support to adults aged 18+ who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis, until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves.
This course will have a particular focus on assisting people who have a disability and are experiencing a mental health problem.
Format
The course will be run over 4 instructor-led sessions, 11:30 - 2:30 pm -
- Wednesday 8 June
- Wednesday 15 June
- Wednesday 22 June &
- Wednesday 29 June.
