IABCA Global Diaspora Leaders Forum

Taking place prior to the IABCA Gala on Friday 14 May 2021 at Australia’s first fully integrated harbourside convention, exhibition and entertainment venue, ICC Sydney, the 2021 IABCA Global Leaders Forum with focus
on Diaspora Diplomacy.

This exciting new initiative will navigate Australia’s relationship with India through our people-to-people links across three engaging panel discussions/ workshops and for the first time will be free for guests to attend.

The forum will leverage the expertise of key leaders across both nations and will navigate some of the central pillars that underpin Australia’s relationship with India. 

Featuring a Soft Power Panel followed by a STEM Panel the IABCA Global Leaders Forum will highlight roadmaps for continued growth across the people-to-people, economic and institutional engagements that bind India and Australia through our growing Alumni.

Panel on STEM : This Panel Discussion will explore some of the major sectors that have driven Australia's economic, investment and trade relationships with India. The discussion will feature key bilateral leaders across sectors such as science, technology, education and mathematics, showcasing existing success stories and bringing into focus opportunities for future collaboration.

Panel on Soft Power & People-People Links: This Panel Discussion will navigate some of the central themes and areas that play a key role in furthering people-to-people links between India and Australia. The conversation will explore the bilateral connection across areas such as arts, culture, film, media, performing arts, and sport whilst highlighting their soft power to connect our societies and cultures on a deeper level.
