The event will be held this year at The Orchard, down near the banks of the Nepean River.
You will be provided with a light breakfast and champagne on arrival, be entertained by the stunning vocals of Lynsey Mackay throughout the morning and have a chance to win some great raffle prizes and participate in our auctions on the day.
Dress Code: Spring racing or business casual.
Who is Penrith Community Kitchen?
Penrith Community Kitchen has been running from 1994-2024 to ensure that no one in Penrith goes hungry.
Their mission is to create a supportive service in the community providing meals, resources and compassion to those experiencing hardship.
This can be the homeless and those experiencing financial hardship, no questions asked, and during this tough economic time, the need is only becoming greater. They supply lunch and dinner, Monday to Friday, and now provide food in schools for children to ensure that they do not go hungry and can be well equipped for their school day. They also supply food in emergency situations, fires, floods, covid, family relief and emergency hot food and hampers
The Kitchen has no government funding, sometimes they have food drives, generous donations from farmers, rotary or oz harvest, also business and community donations. Any time they don’t have enough donations, they need to purchase the food to provide meals.
For further details on the great work they provide in our local community, visit https://penrithcommunitykitchen.com.au/
We look forward to putting on the best Melbourne Cup Breakfast yet, and helping Penrith Community Kitchen to raise funds to continue ensuring that no person in our community goes hungry.
If you are unable to attend the event, however would like to support this wonderful cause, there is also an option for you to make a donation directly to the cause on this page.
