Simba Mushete and Echoes of African Music (Kwekwe, Zimbabwe) are a unique band dedicated to sharing the rich culture and heritage of Zimbabwe through music. Many may not realize the depth and power of Zimbabwe's rhythms, but Simba and his band bring them to life in a way that's both electrifying and unforgettable. Their performance will surely put a smile on your face and get you on your feet, dancing without hesitation. The 8 piece band also weaves together iconic Zimbabwean hits delivering them in a dynamic and irresistible package of rhythm and groove. And who better to guide you on this musical journey than Simba Mushete himself—a talented songwriter and composer who has shared stage with the late legendary icon of Zimbabwe, Dr Oliver Mutukudzi and many others who have toured Australia.

On this night dubbed “Echoes Afro Rhythms” will feature Sindiso Realm Nkomo , a talented young Zim man whose stage presence is something to look forward to.
