JAN PRESTON's BOOGIE CIRCUS WITH NICK CHARLES

Through crossing paths at various music festivals in Australia, blues veterans JAN PRESTON & NICK CHARLES have chanced to play together, discovering a magical combination of sound, instruments & blues styles.

Ranging from country blues, to early Chicago Blues, to boogie piano & all points in between, their concerts are a unique listening experience.

While the material they perform is steeped in tradition, Jan & Nick’s songwriting abilities are also showcased.

Jan Preston is known as “Australia’s Queen of Boogie Piano”, while Nick has a plethora of awards, most recently winning Guitarist of the year at the 2025 International Blues Challenge in Memphis.

Their shows are a unique roots music experience from two of this country’s finest.
