Taste and Tour

Step into the old dairy, the site of the cellar door at Caroline Hills and taste their range of cool climate wines as you chat with owner and winemaker Terry and enjoy tasty nibbles to complement the wines. Pinot in its many iterations takes centre stage, with sparkling, rose, gris and noir in the limelight. A full bodied shiraz completes the wine list.

Take a guided tour of the 3 acre rambling country garden with owner and gardener Helen - the camellias, blossom trees and daphne are fabulous at this time of the year.

Purchase wine, garden produce and local art works.

Caroline Hills Winery is a 10 minute drive south east of Mount Gambier in the Caroline area. d events throughout the year.   Caroline Hills small-batch wines are made with minimal intervention in the winery including using open fermentation, hand plunging and pumping, gentle oak maturation and minimal filtration.  

Children are very welcome and enjoy exploring the garden - with adult supervision of course
