Novocastrian singer-songwriter Amy Vee mesmerises audiences with her esoteric musings, ethereal presence and quirky use of loops. April 2013 will see Amy launch her much anticipated debut solo album Fits and Starts. This comes on the back of her award winning EP Sleeping Dogs Lie (2009) and extensive touring schedule where she held her own in support of acts such as Tim Freedman and Renee Geyer and at festivals such as Peats Ridge. She has also toured extensively as a member of Tim Freedman’s band The Idle and Jon English’s The Rock Show.
 
As well as being staunchly passionate about home-grown live music, Vee is a passionate advocate of the role creativity and the arts plays in promoting mental health and wellbeing.
