Having just performed at the Black Bear Lodge’s 50 Years of Bob Dylan Tribute in Brisbane, as well as secured spots at both Bleach Festival and the highly anticipated 2high Festival on the Gold Coast, the alternate folk duo are quickly making their mark in both Brisbane and Gold Coast circles.  

Inspired by the likes of Bon Iver, Ben Howard and Damien Rice, The Altais are drawn to music’s emotive power. With inimitable rawness, truth and delicacy, these two young storytellers come together to paint a fragrant picture of the heart, the soul, love, loss, their travels, triumphs as well as the occasional hillside, ridgeline and snowcapped mountaintop.

The recent release of their single ‘Low’ will be backed by a Sydney tour in early 2013 before the preparation for more recording begins.
