A Valentines Special Event

With all the wonder of Burlesque from the early days of the 20th Century, and the adaptations that has lead it to what it is today. Burlesque 2009 at Baroq House, is a spectacular that you will not want to miss.

With amazing shows starting at 9:30pm, you will be wowed with their grace,  presence and beauty. The beautiful burlesque girls, in their spider nets, burlesque contortionists and acts inspired by Dita Von Teese's revival of 1930's and 40's shows... something you will not want to miss.

As well, as being a show of Burlesque, this event is celebrating Valentines Day, all that it stands for and what every single is looking for... just a tiny bit of love.

Early in the evening, there will be live acustic music, followed by our resident DJ's - Daniel Irwin, Jesus, Ash_Lee, they'll start to warm up with classic party sounds, take you on a journey until you can't stop dancing! Downstairs, in what we've labeled the "Love Den" we'll have Tim Egan, Leighjay and Tom Miljko, who play a little bit more house oriented - they'll be sure to keep you on the floor, and keep the one you're eyeing off there too.

 NOTE: Explanation of Tickets                                                                                                                                                                                            "Burlesque Tickets" are $30.00 per head, this includes entry into the venue, and the amazing entertainment, music and a special Valentines atmosphere.  Includes 2 standard beverages, canapes.

                                                                                                                                           "Belvedere Tickets" are $95.00 per head, and include all of the above, plus a bottle of Belvedere Vodka (375ml)* plus mixers^ & ice bucket. Plus Canapes

Please ensure you print your tickets and present them on the door at the event.

Ticket purchases with no proof of purchase will be denied entry.

This is a theme night, however - not just a costume party guests may choose to be in theme or not. Usual dress code restrictions apply a brief outline of them are as follows: Collared shirts are a must for gentlemen, running shoes, shorts and thongs are unacceptable (except female micro shorts, they're very acceptable). We at Baroq House appreciate style, so if you think you're up to the challenge to go against the dress code, please do so at your own risk.
