Singer Mali, of Boston band, Jaggery, returns to Australia for a solo tour after a stint as a special guest of Amanda Palmer. Mali's voice, "one of the most beautiful . . . in modern music" (The Oedipus Project), can move from "new-age songbird to woman scorned to woodland fairy to blood-thirsty werewolf to sultry lounge singer”(Boston Herald), oft-times within the same song. Her piano-based songs bring to mind a more classical, organic, avant-jazz oriented Cocteau Twins, or a “white witch” counter to the haunting Diamanda Galas. www.jaggery.org

With support from:

Helen Perris, self-confessed dork with a keyboard, whose heartfelt, tongue-in-cheek piano pop glistens with a raw and lingering honesty. http://helenperrismusic.com/
