Pancare Comedy Night

This fundraiser is for local man Jordan Cheney. After a year of battling pancreatic cancer, Jordan has received the bad news that it is now terminal. We want to raise awareness with a comedy night that will raise funds for Pancare in his name.

The Pancare Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation, established in 2011 by leading cancer surgeon, Dr Mehrdad Nikfarjam. With more Australians dying of pancreatic and liver cancer each year than breast or prostate, Dr Nikfarjam was driven to establish Pancare as a way of increasing awareness, research and support for those affected by pancreatic, liver, biliary and foregut cancers. 

When a patient is diagnosed with cancer it impacts on the whole family and the community in which they live. The Pancare Foundation not only focuses on expediting scientific progress but also the delivery of programs that are designed to address individual and changing patient needs, from the point of diagnosis through to recovery and bereavement.

The night will begin at 6.30pm with live music. At 7pm speeches raising awareness will commence. At 7.30 the comedy will begin. If you want to make a donation, you can do it here or on the night.
