"Sassy tunes in the Top Paddock" - a concert featuring Fanny Lumsden and Amber Rae Slade

The Pyrenees Music Festival crew, in conjunction with DogRock Winery,
are ecstatic to present the first in our "Party in the Paddock" series, a concert event like no other:

"Sassy tunes in the Top Paddock"

- Featuring Fanny Lumsden and Amber Rae Slade

Fresh from their lively performances at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, Fanny Lumsden and Amber Rae Slade are embarking on a national tour, entertaining audiences right around the country with their "happy sass, honest lies and wholesome truths"...

Fanny hails from a farm in Western NSW.  She has been described as being just as happy with a rifle, a set of reins, the steering wheel of a tractor, or a guitar in her hands...  We think she'll FIT RIGHT IN with the landscape and community of the Pyrenees.  Full of sass, personality and stories that will have you belly laughing, she promises to deliver a "kick ass hoe-down with a whole lot of fun"...

Amber Rae comes from further afield - a native of Detroit, Michigan, in the United States - Amber Rae is described as:

"2 parts Detroit;
3 parts Nashville;
1 part Smoke and Mirrors; and
4 parts Jim Beam..."

We think that makes a pretty exciting recipe for a night of incredible entertainment under a stunning sunset, followed by a blanket of a billion stars, whilst enjoying the beautiful wines from Dogrock Winery and the toe-tapping tunes of this Valentines day duo...

The "Party in the Paddock" Series

The "Party in the Paddock" series celebrates that quintessential Pyrenees vista - the humble paddock - by presenting it in a whole new light, as the setting for a range of music events... 

Our "paddocks" are very much our bread and butter - places of hard work; of nature and nurture; of production and harvest...  But often without us even noticing, they are so much more than that - they are places of beauty beyond description, the setting of spectacular sunsets and incredible views...

DogRock Winery have very kindly provided a spectacularly beautiful location for our very first concert in this exciting new series - a "Top Paddock" with views to Mt Cole, Mt Langhi Ghiran and beyond...

So this Valentine's Day, bring your love interest, yourself or a group of friends - and celebrate with his exciting pair of songstresses at another concert full of heart and talent sure to leave the "Top Paddock" buzzing well after the final song...

Important things to note:

1. There will be a strictly limited number of tickets available at the door - at the increased price of $35.00 per ticket - so we strongly recommend pre-paying for your tickets so as to benefit from the cheaper ticket prices.
2. Due to the strictly limited numbers (and to ensure that we cover our costs) we are unable to offer concession tickets to this event.  Children under 12 will be admitted free of charge.
3. This open air event is to be held in the height of the Summer Fire Season.  For everybodies safety, and the safefy of the farms, neighbours and communities around us, this event will therefore be a strictly non-smoking event.   We thank you for your co-operation in this regard.
4. This is as strictly no BYO alcohol event.  Feel free to bring your own non-alcoholic beverages and snacks.
