You’ll never look at dinner the same way!

Premiere - Simon Bryant, familiar to viewers of ABC TV’s The Cook & The Chef, will introduce the film. The Soil Association will host an organic wine tasting beforehand.

Food, Inc. exposes America's industrialized food system and its effect on the environment, health, economy and workers' rights, revolutionising the way we think about food!

In Food, Inc., filmmaker Robert Kenner lifts the veil on the USA's food industry, exposing the highly mechanized underbelly that has been hidden from the American consumer with the consent of their government's regulatory agencies, USDA and FDA. The nation's food supply is now controlled by a handful of corporations that often put profit ahead of consumer health, the livelihood of the American farmer, the safety of workers and our own environment.

There is concern that Australia is headed down a similar path, with profits going away from farmers and off-shore.
