Hunter Semillon & Seafood has been moved to October so we can share the launch of
our 2010 Semillons with you. The move brings a new format with great
activities, demonstrations and Master Classes along with FREE event entry.
Our Semillons both newly launched, and from the depths of the
cellar, will be paired with fabulous fresh seafood served by local restaurants.
Port Stephens Oyster farmers will be on hand to freshly shuck their oysters,
our winemakers will share their wine knowledge and our guest celebrity chef, Alvin Quah finalist MasterChef Series 2,
will teach you some great seafood recipes.

Seafood Restaurant is a new addition to the event for this year. Chef Matt Dillow & his team from The Verandah Restaurant have
created a menu, that pairs perfectly with Semillon, for guests to enjoy in the
comfort of a fully seated marquee with crockery & cutlery. Steps to an Onsite Restaurant Experience 1.

up new tips and tricks to amaze at your next dinner party. Finish the session
by learning how to match the dish with a Hunter Valley Semillon for the
ultimate combination. There will be a few sessions throughout the day (similar
dishes prepared at each session). Meet Janelle Bloom at 2.00pm as she demonstrates her seafood favourites; Janelle will also MC with Alvin with extra seafood tips to have you cooking like a pro. Each session will run for approximately half an hour.

This is a great way to learn more, impress your friends or top up your
knowledge of Hunter Valley Semillon. The four sessions will be run in a
dedicated marquee. Each session will run for half an hour and will include
four wines. They will be hosted by The Wine Man, Peter Bourne, who will be
joined by a panel of our Winemakers. This is a superb interactive way to
learn more about Hunter Valley Semillon. Each session will run for approximately half an hour.
The four sessions are: 11.30am - Trophy/gold medal tasting 12.30pm - Vintage Bi-Vertical - 2010, 2008, 2006, 2004 1.30pm - Regional tasting - Lovedale, Broke, Pokolbin, Belford
