Event Details

In May 2010, the Beneath Gallipolli project set out to survey map and document the underwater heritage of the Anzac landings at Gallipolli (Turkey) in WWI. Under the directorship of maritime archeologist Tim Smith, the on-beach and underwater terrain were recorded formally for the first time. Hear Tim Smith and reknowned underwater photographer Mark Spencer speak about their findings at this exclusive AG event.

The evening will commence at 5.15pm with a tour of the ANZAC Memorial in Hyde Park. An expert guide will take you through the memorial and tell of the significance of the architecture and the battles that are remembered within it's walls.
