You’re invited to the next Adelaide Wellbeing Quarterly Meeting on Friday June 17th, from 6-9pm at the Box Factory in the city. This meeting is open to all Wellbeing practitioners and businesses in Adelaide including non-members, please come along to have an experience of Adelaide Wellbeing and what it is we are doing! You are most welcome.
At the next meeting we have a special guest. Jeff Shearer from Ethical Practice based in Brisbane will be travelling to Adelaide specifically to present at our Member meeting. Linda Baker who has had more than 30 years experience in sales and marketing will also be presenting at this meeting.Topic – Ethical Practice: Ethics versus Success - How you can have both I know there is some concern around making a good income balanced with being ethical in our industry. If we are to grow our businesses by opening up more of the market in Adelaide, then this concern has to be addressed sooner than later. We need to be comfortable with the monetary rewards that go hand in hand with assisting others on their journey of wellness.
Jeff from Ethical Practice has put a video clip together specifically for Adelaide Wellbeing members as an introduction to himself and his work, so please go ahead and have a look (its 2 minutes). The link is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBiHqEUgLqk The agenda is as follows:-
Update on Adelaide Wellbeing – Gina Stamas
-

Ethics versus Success: How you can have both
– Jeff Shearer, Ethical Practice. Jeff Shearer has been in private health practice since 1995. His practice styles have ranged from a small mobile massage business to creating - from the ground up - a multiple-practitioner Chinese Medicine Clinic, Evolve Natural Medicine http://www.ethicalpractice.net/www.evolvenaturalmedicine.com.au in New Farm, Brisbane. Conscious that practitioners in the natural medicine industry are more at risk of failure in business than other healthcare modalities, and having learnt how to survive and succeed, Jeff was inspired to create Ethical Practice - an information-based business designed to assist anyone in healthcare develop a practice with integrity.
Please note that on the night there will be a door charge of $10 per person for some light nibbles and fingerfood.
