At Business Video Masters we spend a lot of time thinking about building businesses through communication; What are the opportunities? What are the challenges? How can we help businesses do a better job getting their message across?

In the process, we thought it would be great if you could come in learn more about business communication and video, get some practical experience, meet some great new people and have fun in the process, so we came up with Short Takes.

Short takes is an evening where you can learn some, meet some and try some.

By that we mean this is not just another evening seminar or networking event but rather a place where you can enjoy yourself and network, but also walk away with some practical learning and experiences about business communication and video.

The focus of Short Takes is on visual business communications. Why? Because, video is a major tool in your businesses communication arsenal. Some we’ll be focusing on how to get better impact from your video for your business.

So What’s on the agenda?

Here’s what we’ll cover.

Learn Some

We start with a practical workshop on how to pitch your business; Business Coach Hugh Todd will discuss how to pitch, and workshop writing a pitch for your business.

Once you got the pitch ready, Business Video producer Robert Moorman will talk about how we can translate that message to quality business video.

Then Business Masterminds founder and Author Angelique Milojevic will talk about communicating authentically as a business.

Once the message is clear, Nigel Collin will do a presentation on how to make your audience really connect to you message with presentation that is genuine and has impact.

Try Some

It's nice to talk about theory, but how does that translate to real life?

At Short Takes you’ll also get a chance to put yourself in front of a camera in our studio and be directed by Robert and coached by Nigel, so you get some practical take away pointers and get a feel for working on camera.

Meet Some

Of course Short Takes isn't all work; we'll have music, free drinks, catering and business networking going on too! We want to keep the group small so everyone gets the time they need, so we're going to cap it at 25 seats. Don't miss out.
