Around Australia there are people in churches who are passionate about Fair Trade. Many operate in isolation with little support other than their own enthusiasm under the guidance of God to sustain their passion. The inaugural Fair Trade Faith Conference, this time to be held in Queanbeyan, in 2018 has the following aims:

- To bring together Christian people who see that fair trade grows directly from the social justice dimension of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

- To encourage and develop means of sharing fair trade and ethical shopping.

- To experience quality input to expand understanding of fair trade in Australia.
