Event Details

The Bogan River Peak Hill Wiradjuri Aboriginal Corporation, Peak Hill Aboriginal Community Working Party,  Healing & Learning Centre (Weigelli & Orana Haven) are partnering with Central West Lachlan Landcare to once again run the Back to Bulgandramine Cultural Gathering as part of National Reconciliation Week.

This is a alcohol free event. Alcohol is not permitted on the premises. 

Please note that water is limited on site and all camping must be self-contained. 

Children are to be supervised at all times by an accompanying adult. The site is next to the Bogan River and adult supervision is required. The organisers hold no responsibility for unsupervised children.

The celebration will be held on Saturday and Sunday, 1 and 2 June at the Bulgandramine Mission site, located approximately 21km from Peak Hill on the banks of the Bogan River. 

If travelling from Dubbo you can turn right as you approach Tomingley and take the Tomingley West Road that meets Bulgandramine Road and turn right. If travelling from Peak Hill, travel through town and turn left off the Newell Highway into Ingalba Street. Drive 800m and turn right at Bulgandramine Road and travel 20.4km and turn right into Bulgandramine Mission site.

National Reconciliation Week runs between 27 May and 3 June. The theme for this year is Gounded in truth – walk together with courage.
