A Christmas Carol Celebration with the University of Newcastle Chamber Choir

Come along and celebrate the joy of Christmas with us and our friends.  The internationally renowned University of Newcastle Chamber Choir is presenting its annual Christmas carol celebration at the Sacred Heart Cathedral.  As a very special present for us and you, the ladies of the Choir will sing Benjamin Britten's delightful "A Ceremony of Carfols", with Miriam Lawson playing harp.  It is a real treat for us to bring you this gem, too rarely performed in Newcastle.  Of course, we will have sonic fireworks from "Just Brass" and Daniel Dries at the organ, plus your favourite carols and some surprises!  Once again we are thrilled to have ABC 1233's John Clarke compering the night.  Join us for this great opportunity to get into the true Christmas spirit!
