Janelle Schloss is the Lead Learning and Development Consultant at the Australian Trade Training College Ltd. After completing her Graduate Diploma of Training and Development, Janelle moved to Melbourne, where she was the first Training Manager for Greyhound Racing Victoria. She was responsible for implementing the first Accredited Training for Greyhound Trainers and Kennel Hands in conjunction with Victoria University.

Janelle has also worked as a Training Consultant for Adult Multicultural Education Services and has undertaken consultancy work with the Dusseldorp Skills Forum.

With 25 years experience in working with young people, Janelle's experiences range from working with dysfunctional young men at BoysTown, working with long-term unemployed youth, implementing the Jobs Pathway Program at Marsden SHS and the Career and Transition Program (CAT's) to involvement in developing Professional Development activities for Career Teachers and involvement in the development of the ReCap resources and the Blueprint for Career Development.

As a Senior Training Consultant working for a Queensland RTO, Janelle delivered Accredited Training in both Queensland and NSW. During this time she prepared for the RTO's Audit, developed Continuous Practices and developed the organisation's RPL Processes.

For the past four years Janelle has been involved in the establishment of the Australian Trade Training College Ltd (formerly the Australian Technical College - North Brisbane. Janelle began as the Career Consultant and is now involved in developing the RTO and Consultancy Services. This allows Janelle to indulge her first love, Training and Development.

As the Lead Consultant, Janelle and her team are now available to assist Schools and Registered Training Organisations in improving their Vocational Education and Training practices and developing their staff.
