Suited to Success

Suited to Success Inc is a Brisbane based not-for-profit and manages the Dress for Success Brisbane program. Suited to Success was established in 2008 to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged individuals in South-East Queensland by providing professional attire, a network of support, and career development tools to help them thrive in work and life.

Our pre and post-employment programs provide personal styling advice, self-confidence advice, training in presentation and interview skills, assistance in maintaining employment, and resume advice, all free of charge. Our programs help our clients achieve financial independence by addressing their social and economic needs in relation to work, home and community. Not only do we help disadvantaged members of our community to find and maintain employment but also help them achieve health and wellness, as well as self-defined financial and professional success.

A client's journey with Suited to Success starts when they secure a job interview and we provide them with one free business outfit as well as the appropriate accessories, footwear, and cosmetic/toiletry items. When they successfully land the job, they return to Suited to Success for up to one week’s worth of business attire. In addition to suiting, Suited to Success offers clients a number of programs to help them find and retain employment which include the Career Centre, The Breakfast Club, the Professional Women’s Group, The Bloke's Group, and The Schools Program.

As such, Suited to Success is recognised as a leading provider of holistic personal development services and support to disadvantaged people seeking employment in South East Queensland. Our aim is to provide encouragement in a way that supports clients through tailored programs that empower them to find successful employment consistent with their skills, enabling clients to become financially independent.
