Territory Proud Inc and Helping People Achieve are the promoters and co-ordinators of the Festival with the intention of raising the profile of both organisations and raising funds to help people with special needs obtain training and real jobs.

The Territory Proud motto is "Working Together, Helping Territorians Achieve Their Goals".
