Event Details
Random Weaving
Tuesday 11th and Tuesday 18th October 2022
10am to 1pm.
Learn how to bend and manipulate a variety of materials to create a usable object or sculpture. In these sessions you will be shown basic weaving techniques to create a bird's nest. The basic nest skeleton is constructed of cane as it is easy and sturdy to use holding the shape of a nest. Natural items such as willow, ivy and grape vine can then be introduced along with material and electrical wire to create colour. You will be able to use these skills to create other projects of your choice. This is a basic and fun workshop suitable for all creatives at heart.
Bring your own snacks and drinks.
$40pp includes all materials.
No experience necessary.

Refund Policy
Refunds up to 3 days before the event, TACC is a small volunteer run operation. We cannot offer refunds at longer than 3 days due to the office not being manned every day. We thank you for your understanding.
