Join us as we unravel the possibilities and responsibilities inherent in harnessing the power of AI video analytics for a safer, smarter world being able to see what matters, when it matters.
In the constant evolving landscape of security and surveillance, Artificial Intelligence has emerged as a transformative force promising unparalleled insights and efficiencies. Mike will delve into this realm from the unique perspective of Irisity on the responsible development and use of AI video analytics whilst considering the common industry perceptions of AI contrasting myth against reality. We will explore some methodologies underpinning algorithm development and look at the options for optimal approaches resulting in efficacy and ethical integrity.
Moreover, Mike will review some of the typical use case requests experienced for AI video analytics and review what's truly achievable solving for things such as public & employee safety, business operations, security and compliance. Drawing from real-world scenarios, we will discuss the best practice configurations and Fields of View (FOV) that optimize outcomes while upholding privacy and regulatory standards.
Finally, Mike will offer an insight into the future of AI video analytics, trends and innovations considering camera vs edge server technologies dissecting processing capabilities, pixel precision, metadata utilization, and the impact on accuracy across varying distances and how these aid in making informed decisions in deploying AI solutions that are fit for purpose.
