LUND GLOVER BAND 

The LUND GLOVER BAND brings together two generations of Sydney blues artists, with guitarists EWAN LUND & AIDAN GLOVER, backed by the killer rhythm section of CHRISTIAN YOUNG & TONY BOYD. 

EWAN LUND has firmly established himself on Sydney blues scene, twice receiving the Sydney Blues Society’s Youth Artist award as well as Favourite Emerging Act. He draws from electric blues, blues-rock & soul, with strong phrasing, dynamics & improvisation.  AIDAN GLOVER is a versatile guitarist, bassist & singer who moves comfortably between blues, soul & funk. As a bandleader he is inspired by artists such as Chris Cain, Marcus King & Doyle Bramhall II. On bass, CHRISTIAN YOUNG brings considerable depth & versatility to the group. His career traverses blues, jazz & contemporary rock, working with artists including James Morrison, Dale Barlow & Steve Balbi, & gives the band a rhythmically sophisticated foundation. Drummer TONY BOYD brings decades of experience across the Australian blues scene.  His touring & recording credits include Eric Steckel, Josh Smith, Simon Kinny-Lewis, Kate Lush & Mal Eastick, along with performances & recordings with players such as Robben Ford & Kirk Fletcher. 

Together, they bring a broad range of influences & experience to a band that remains firmly grounded in the blues, while leaving plenty of room for soul, funk, improvisation & the spontaneity of live performance.
