Throughout the year, we connect online, recommend one another and follow what everyone’s doing in business.

Our annual Hub Muster gives us the chance to get in a room together, and get to know the people behind the businesses of The Homestead Hub.

We’re a wonderful and varied bunch, with products, services, resources, associations and experiences that serve rural, regional and remote Australia. We bring different skills and stories, and there’s always something to learn from one another.

We deliberately keep our Muster event small, so you have time to get to know the people you’re spending the day with.

Why Momentum?

For me, momentum is about saying yes, having a go and continuing to show up - even when you haven’t got the whole road mapped out.

And sometimes, it’s another person who helps you take that next step.

An introduction, a recommendation, a shared experience or someone getting excited about your idea can give you a little push to get started or keep going.

That’s what I hope we create together at this year’s Muster - encouragement, ideas and connections that keep growing long after we head home.

Momentum doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when people show up.

A day around the table

Our Muster is a full day of sharing, learning and getting to know one another, with good local Tassie food and room for the yarns that happen along the way.

Our speakers for the day are members of The Homestead Hub, and you can meet these member speakers on our facebook event page.

Meet our special guest, Melissa Duniam

I’m delighted that Melissa Duniam, founder of Leading Rein, will be joining us as our special guest speaker.

Melissa is a Coach, Facilitator and Founder of Leading Rein, based in far North West Tasmania. She was named the 2023 AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award Tasmanian winner and is now the program’s State Chair and we can’t wait to welcome Melissa!

Stay for the sundowner

As the day winds down, we’ll continue the conversations at our Sundowner at Peppers Silo Hotel.

This gathering extends the welcome to family, friends and guests, along with local Launceston business people.

It’s a lovely opportunity to meet a few more people, enjoy the end of the day and see where the conversations lead.

Your Muster Day ticket includes the Sundowner. Separate tickets are available for guests joining us just for the Sundowner.

Saturday 14 November — Regional Tour Day

When we bring the Hub to a region, we love to get out and experience it.

Our Saturday Tour Day will take us beyond the Muster room to explore the Tamar region, meet some locals and support businesses along the way.

It gives us more time together, too - and we all know how good a day out together can be!

Hub members and family, friends and guests are welcome to join us. The itinerary and booking details will be shared as they’re finalised. This is a separate ticketed event for all attending.

Who’s joining us?

Friday’s Muster brings together members of Homestead Hub, some as our speakers, and we welcome guests - people who understand, serve and care about rural, regional and remote Australia.

The Sundowner and Saturday Tour Day offer opportunities to include the people travelling with you, and local Launceston friends and business people are also invited.

A little about The Homestead Hub

I founded The Homestead Hub in December 2020 to help rural, regional and remote Australians find trusted businesses, and to help the people behind those businesses connect with one another.

Our directory is built on recommendation and reputation. Through our member community, conversations, Creatives Camps and annual Muster, we create opportunities to be seen, supported, recommended and connected.

The Hub is a small business built to serve a big community, and that community is rural, regional and remote Australia.

Our Muster brings a little of that big community around one table.

I’d love to see you in Launceston

If this sounds like a room you'd like to be in, I’d love you to join us.

With cheers,

Flic
