Cec Peterson is a singer/songwriter/story-teller through song, preforming a wide range of covers & original songs in an acoustic style with guitar accompaniment. She wears her heart on her sleeve as is evident by her emotive, raw & touching lyrics.

Known from 2006 as part of The Rough Diamonds, in 2019 Cec went solo - creating an even more intimate and engaging experience for audiences.

She released her debut solo single, Thankyou For Cheatin’ On Me in 2020. This track gained airplay on high rotation right across Australia as well as the UK & the US!

In early 2023, Cec released her second solo single, “In A Moment”, the song gained traction across Community Radio Stations. She has since released “Bring Me Home” and “Like A Candle”, both of which have been well received across national and international charts. Like A Candle made the Top Ten OZ Radio Chart within a month of its release! Her next single “This Old Guitar” will be released very soon.

Her music is available on all digital platforms & she is currently putting together her debut solo album which will hopefully be available late 2024!

Cec & her partner now reside in the beautiful Snowy Valleys region of NSW where they run a live music venue, “Music & Mates at The Royal Hotel in Adelong”. Life is certainly never boring, Cec continues to kick goals, living life “in the moment!”.
