Celebrating and Supporting your Practice Manager

It’s been a tough couple of years for private medical practice. From bushfires, floods, a pandemic and floods once more, everyone is looking for a re-set as we find our ‘new normal’.

The events of the last two years have been unsettling and stressful for staff. Your Practice Manager has managed your medical practice, patients and staff through some extraordinary times and is no doubt looking forward to better times.

AMA (NSW) is offering your Practice Manager the opportunity toengage with colleagues, the AMA(NSW) Workplace Relations Team and external service providers to arm themselves with the practical knowledge they need to be the best they can be and just as importantly, the opportunity to re-establish their professional networks and connections.

This event will be held at AMA (NSW)’s newly renovated offices at Level 6, 69 Christie Street St Leonards on 29 and 30 April 2022.

The formal program will cover a variety of topics including:

• ·Financial management and billing basics
• ·Recruitment of staff
• ·Performance management and other difficult conversations
• ·Privacy and medical record keeping compliance
• ·Workplace Health & Safety
• ·Terminating staff and unfair dismissal claims

There will be plenty of opportunity for networking throughout the program and a social function on the evening of 29 April 2022.

When: Friday 29 April 2022 - 12 noon to 5pm (followed by a social function)

Saturday 30 April 2022 - 8.30 – 1.00pm
