Just back from playing the 2026 Echuca Winter Blues Festival, THE LAZY DOG will celebrate the CD release of current debut Album 'Barely Fed' at Butchers Brew.

Campbell’s sound is a blend of acoustic & electric folk styles – from Appalachia & London to the streets of Sydney – combined with blues, country & Americana. As heard across the new album Barely Fed, his influences are wide-ranging, from iconic artists such as Joni Mitchell, Nick Drake, Bob Dylan, Townes Van Zandt, & John Prine to contemporary songwriters such as Paul Kelly, Kevin Bennett, Bernard Fanning, Neil Finn & Laura Marling.

A prolific live artist & winner at the 2024 Fretfest Song Tamworth, 2026 has seen the release of debut album Barely Fed, recorded with his band THE LAZY DOG.

The first taste of Pete's debut album was the single 'The Parts I've Seen' which premiered on Sunburnt Country Music & Stuart Coupe's Dirt Music on 2SER. The song entered the Amrap National Community Radio Airplay Chart at #20 & the Country/ Blues/ Roots Chart at #10. It's since seen airplay on 702 ABC Sydney, ABC Country & the wider Australian Community Radio Network.

Good Hounds have been carving out their own space in Sydney with their unique blending of folk, indie rock & pop to craft warm, bittersweet songs likened to Big Thief, Crowded House & The Shins. Born out of a mutual love of catchy indie rock numbers from the 2000s & beyond, Good Hounds are capturing their own unique style of lo-fi bittersweet pop with folk sensibilities.
