Event Details

Reality BItes Festival has been bringing big ideas to the Noosa hinterland for the past 6 years. Join Anne Summers, Mark Dapin, Matthew Condon, and many more writers and thinkers for a great feast of food for thought and country hospitality.

NB. There are two strands in the program and sessions overlap: 

you have to choose between main-stage (MS) and Community Access room (CR) sessions. 

Seating is on a ‘first in best dressed’ basis, so arrive in plenty of time to grab a coffee and a good seat. 

Sessions are intended to be informal and relaxed with time for questions from the floor. 

  • CLOSE UP SESSIONS are designed with authors in mind and are smaller personal sessions with one or two authors. 
  • PANELS and CONVERSATIONS are broad ranging discussions between several participating authors with a convening chair. 
There is time between sessions to purchase books for the authors to sign. Don’t forget to rug up – it can get cold up in the hills.

The hinterland township of Cooroy is set in the rolling green hills 20k west of Noosa, and 110k north of Brisbane. There is B&B accommodation in the surrounding countryside, and hotel accommodation down on the coast in Noosa, or on the river in Noosaville.
