In celebration of National Ag Week 2021, PIEFA will be hosting twenty nation-wide live Farmer Time sessions for students from Foundation to Year 12, showcasing producers from a broad range of food and fibre industries.

The focus of these sessions is to assist students to develop an understanding of the importance of Australia's primary industries.

This session is designed for students from Foundation-Year 6 and will run for approximately 15-minutes.

Throughout this session, students will take a virtual guided tour of Velisha Farms to develop an understanding of vegetable production and the features of spaces used to produce food or fibre.

This session is designed to be utilised as a provocation for the PIEFA STEM challenge which can be accessed via the Primezone website: https://www.primezone.edu.au/search/
