UK born writer/performer Phil Spencer has teamed up with Sydney singer/songwriter Richard Cuthbert to create a brand new show for 2014.

Equal parts stand-up comedy and story-telling, You And Whose Army is a whimsical and darkly comic tale about growing up in the ‘slums’ of rural South Oxfordshire and learning life lessons in the city of Glasgow (the murder capital of Western Europe. Ah hem).

Combining live music, low-fi theatrical tricks, recorded interviews and possibly a puppet or two – You And Whose Army is an honest account of misplaced love, dabbling in drugs and how a twenty eight year old man has never – ever - thrown a punch.

Get in early and join us at The Newsagency for a very intimate, first ever, showing of You And Whose Army. The show will still be rough round the edges and they’ll be an awkward pause or two but it will be well worth your $20. We promise.
