Tantrum's first work for 2014, Diving off the Edge of the World is a multi-artform devised work that takes as its inspiration memories of the long-gone "Map of the World" pool. Young people across all of Tantrum’s age ranges will participate in the creation and performance of the show in collaboration with an extraordinary range of professional artists - including playwright Vanessa Bates, visual artist Liz Anelli and performer/ musician Zackari Watt.

The performance begins at the Newcastle Beach (Southern) end of the Baths car park. Please note that the Newcastle Ocean Baths can

be windy at night so bring warm clothes. The Bathers Way Café (Baths Kiosk) will remain open so come early for fish and chips and icecream! *Please wear comfortable shoes as this performance involves walking between multiple sites. Limited seating will be available at each performance site for those who require it*

Wet weather: Performances will go ahead on site unless the weather is absolutely torrential, in which case performances will be cancelled and tickets transferred to alternate dates. If in doubt, please check the Tantrum website on the day of the show.

Please make sure you bring a jacket as the site can get very cold, and a raincoat if it looks like there may be some wet weather.
