Enter your membership ticket number when you purchase tickets.

ORDINARY MEMBERSHIP of the SHWC entitles you to:

• Member discounts on Reality Bites festival tickets, workshops and 10% discount on books purchased at the event.
• Priority booking for all our events.
• Contribute to planning and future events and vote at association AGM.
• Industry information on publishing, writing, and more.
• Writer's developmental assistance and discounted manuscript assessment from Books & Writing, discounted workshops.
• Access to, (at our discretion), advice, help to write and auspice your writing grant applications.
• Reciprocal membership with Sunshine Coast Literary Association and member privileges of that organisation (but not voting rights at their AGM). Once you have joined, please contact us for your membership area user name and password.
• Our rules of association are the model rules as set out by the Department of Fair Trade. The rules can be downloaded from our website.

LIFE MEMBERSHIP

For members who have served on the organising committee and is extended by the SHWC. Current life members are invited to fill in their details to book festival tickets and so they appear on our current membership register. You will have voting rights and be eligible for all member discounts. If you wish to continue to volunteer for the festival and help out, please sign up HERE.

VOLUNTEER FOR THE FESTIVAL HERE

• You must be available for a minimum of four hours during the event.

• Volunteers receive a complimentary Festival Pass.
