Magnetic tape lives on to fight another day! In April, Harley Young Music and Go Go Fish will be on tour in support of their split cassette with dates in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Lismore, Sydney and Wollongong.

Over the last two years, Brisbane native Harley Young has been heavily involved in the Montreal/Canadian music scene. Having arrived in 2012, Harley released a series of cassettes entitled Suburb on Tape. The Suburb on Tape series saw him play numerous shows between Canada, the UK and the US, sharing the stage with acts including Julie Doiron of Eric’s Trip, Kalle Mattson, Gianna Lauren and the legendary Al Tuck. His cassette releases were received extremely well in Canada, having obtained a number of favourable reviews and substantial airplay on CBC, Canada’s national broadcaster, as well as a number of college radio stations. This tour and release marks his return home following a recently completed East Coast Canadian tour.

2013 was a big year for Go Go Fish, launching their debut single Vulpine along with a retro Countdown-inspired video, earning a place in the Grand Final of Ric's Exposed #5 band competition and being selected to record their song Little Wings as part of the Independent Music Project's Indie 100. 2014 looks to be even bigger with twice the guitars, exciting new material and their first interstate tour side by side with their old mate Harley Young.
