The Smooth End of the Pineapple is comedy duo consisting of Matt Bell and Scot McPhie, they perform sketches in the style of a radio broadcast, including live sound effects performed on stage. Think of them as a cross between Monty Python and The Goons and you pretty much get the picture. They recently were named one of the highlights of the 2014 Anywhere Theatre Festival, and garnered great reviews, including “different, quirky and hilarious”, “a rare but great find”, “If you want to laugh, come check them out, they will deliver”, “a unique and ultimately very funny theatre experience”, and “a guaranteed great time”.
