Don’t let their good looks fool you. Quasimodo Blues Band (QBB) are a serious blues band. They’ve been around for quite a while and honed their skills to a point where they’re quite sharp. (Hence the reference to an edge.) They get fan mail from places like Korea and Denmark.

You’ll be hearing some classic blues and a fair amount of bloody good original material. Some of it is soft and jazzy, some is seriously crunchy and some is damned depressing. (It’s blues after all.)

Guitars, keyboards, blues harp, lots of singing. It gets pretty emotional at times.

The sound is a mix of Chicago and Delta blues tempered by an ingredient that makes it Oz blues.

You can sing along to 'One Two Baby Blue', add up the cliches in 'Soul To Sell', shed a tear in ‘Findin’ My Way In The Blues’, click your fingers to ‘Believer’, stomp you feet to ‘About You and go right off with ‘Chaser.’ There’s heaps more.

There’ll be classics too, like Hoochie Coochie Man, Drop Down Mama, Dust My Broom and Got My Mojo Workin’.
