It turns out Groove will never die. As good a reason as any for Tina Harris’s DELICATESSEN to rise from its cryogenic state of 15 years and make a return to the stage.

With the original engine room intact, bassist Tina Harris and drummer Glenn Wilson are set to hunker down into some juicy fat grooves and provide the backbone for the sweet, funky, sexy, raucous, dark, and kooky instrumental tunes to work their magic.

Playing tunes from the CD ‘Take a Number’ (recorded with the assistance of an Australia Council grant in the late 90’s and other compositions by Harris, Delicatessen’s 7 piece lineup of piano (Brendan St Ledger), guitar, (Ricardo Cancino), trumpet, (Marty Farrugia), saxophone (Paul Chenard), and percussion (Steve Marin), bass and drums will levitate you back to a pre Tony Abbott and Facebook era when you could still buy alcohol after 10 o’clock.

Come down Wednesday the 20 August for a mid week dose of original groove, jazz-and world vibes and leave smiling.
