Silver Sircus make their return to live performance with an intimate show at Can You Keep A Secret. Performing as a semi-acoustic quintet (their first since 2017) the band will be reworking favourite songs from their decade-plus history of music-making as well as new material. Joining Silver Sircus will be dark-folk duo Daylight Ghosts, launching their new single, In The Glow.

Silver Sircus is an ever-evolving collective led by vocalist/lyricist Lucinda Shaw and drummer/composer James Lees. Since 2008, they have built a highly eclectic world of sound incorporating dark cabaret performance, electronica, post-rock, prog and chamber folk elements. In varying formats, the band has delivered acclaimed performances for arts/music festivals all over Australia and has released several singles/EPs and two albums. After a recent hiatus, the band slimmed down to a quintet, performed an online performance during the Brisbane lockdown winter, released two EP's of new remixes and is currently working on new material.

Daylight Ghosts is an indie/electro/dark-folk duo comprised of singer/songwriter Adam Dawe (Lunar Seasons, Novus Wild) and composer/guitarist Karl O’Shea (Balloons Kill Babies, inovo, Sarah Stockholm). The band is driven by their love for raw and intimate music with shared influences coming from artists as diverse as Chelsea Wolfe, The Cure, Swans, Daughter and The Go-Betweens. The band perform as a vocals/guitar duo and are celebrating the release of new single In The Glow from their upcoming EP. The song continues the band’s exploration of their sonic boundaries, featuring a blend of folk, goth and hip-hop elements with the help of producer Matt Dodds.
