Mines Rescue Centenary film screening: Pike River

As we mark 100 years of NSW Mines Rescue, we invite you and a guest to attend a special screening of Pike River.

Based on the events of the 2010 Pike River mining disaster in New Zealand, the film tells the story of the underground explosion that claimed the lives of 29 mineworkers and the response efforts that followed.

While the story may be unfamiliar to some of our people, Pike River remains closely connected to Mines Rescue and the broader mining industry.
